Please tune in to PBS tonight, Friday Nov. 22 at 7pm, as Louisiana Public Broadcasting features our museum as part of its ongoing series, “Louisiana: The State We’re In.”

Where to stream (later): https://www.youtube.com/@LPBTV
Program Description: “The Acadian Museum aims to become an economic catalyst for Erath, La. expanding its collection into a museum complex. The grassroots museum serves as a memory keeper and community archive of Erath’s Cajun culture and Acadian history. It resides in downtown Erath as one of the few occupied buildings among vacant storefronts that could host the museum’s ever-expanding collection. LPB’s Karen LeBlanc takes us on a tour of the museum’s Acadian artifacts and exhibits of colorful Cajun personalities with details of a plan to boost business.”
Please note: The program will only be available live on PBS stations in Louisiana, but should be available to everyone on YouTube later, as listed above.
